The Himiway Cruiser Step-Through All-Terrain Electric Bike is a great fat-tire electric cruiser that is offered at a great price, you really do get a lot of bike for the money with this one. The large battery that comes with this bike provides remarkably good range but does take a little time to fully charge, the 2Ah charger that comes with the bike does make for long charge times, somewhere between 6 and 7 hours but a slow charge can get you more charge cycles.

A nice feature of this bike is the saddle, it’s fairly comfortable falling somewhere in the middle of the road as far as comfortable bike saddles go but its the handle on the back of the saddle that comes in handy when you need to pick this bike up and carry it around because this bike is a bit heavy at 72 lbs, so that handle is definitely a welcome addition. The bike also comes with a sturdy rear rack with a nicely finished wood platform that is perfect for packing extra stuff with you when you head out for a ride.

Even though the Himiway Cruiser is a big bike it is surprisingly comfortable to ride. The handlebars create a nice comfortable riding position, the hand grips have more of an ergonomic feel to them and the front suspension fork provides enough travel to smooth out any rough terrain you might encounter. The front fork also comes with a preload adjustment and lockout capability.

The Shimano 7-Speed Gear Shift System works well and the gears change quickly and smoothly. Combined with Himiways rear hub motor, this bike has plenty of power and acceleration is smooth. The Cruiser is equipped with Tektro 180mm mechanical disc brakes that offer strong and effective braking. Some riders may prefer hydraulic disc brakes because of the bike’s weight and the fact that this bike is fairly fast for its size.

The only negative with this bike might be its weight. By no means is the bike too heavy and difficult to handle when riding it, it is actually quite agile for its size but if you’re someone that lives in an apartment, then getting the bike in and out might be something to consider and could be a struggle, especially if there is no elevator, been there done that.
