VTUVIA is a relatively new electric bike company that was established in 2018 that focuses on good-performing, affordable, easy-to-assemble electric bikes.

The VTUVIA SJ26 26 Inch Cruiser Electric Fat Tire Bike was built to be ridden on all types of terrain. This versatile electric bike comes with 26″ Kenda fat tires, a powerful 750W 80Nm rear hub motor, and a front fork suspension. This bike was also built with rider comfort being a priority. The smartly designed ergonomic aluminum alloy frame is easy on the body making it possible to go on longer rides without causing excessive rider fatigue.

The front hydraulic suspension fork on this bike has two adjustments, the right side has open and lock so you can lock out the suspension if you want to and the other side is a preload feature that allows you to adjust for your weight,

The bike relies on the Shimano 7-speed gearing system that works well and helps with hills but really shines on flat surfaces when you really want some extra speed and also comes with an intelligent 5-level pedal assist.

The bike does have some internally routed wiring which cleans up the look of the bike somewhat. The removable 48V 13Ah lithium waterproof battery is easy to remove and put back on the bike, it actually swings out in a sideways manner so it is really easy to get off the bike.

The dual disc brakes on this bike work reasonably well but it will take a bit longer to stop at higher speeds and they do squeal compared to better quality brakes like Tektro brakes that generally won’t squeal when working under pressure and can be easily adjusted, an upgrade here is something VTUVIA should consider.

The LCD display is backlit and has a lot of great features, it is easy to read even in direct sunlight and is quite easy to scroll through and takes very little time to get used to.

The VTUVIA SJ26 Cruiser Fat Tire Electric Bike is not light-weight and weighs in at 76 lbs so you’ve got lots of weight to get moving but the bike does handle itself quite well and is relatively agile for a big bike, and has an impressive max payload of 350 lbs so it can handle a lot.

This bike does have good, smooth acceleration, you won’t get thrown back or jerked around. One thing that really stands out with this bike is how good its range is even when you’re riding up hills for extended periods. This fat tire cruiser handles rougher terrain quite well, the front fork smoothes out bumps very effectively, but if you want an even smoother ride, just let a little air out of the tires which seems to work well.

The one big negative about this bike is that it really struggles on steeper hills but does perform a lot better at mid and higher speeds. On flat paved surfaces, this bike is capable of reaching around 28mph which is quite respectable indeed.

Overall, the VTUVIA SJ26 is a good quality, budget-friendly fat tire electric cruiser that is really quite agile for its size. One of the best things about this bike is the range, the battery has really surprisingly long battery life.

Another nice feature of this bike are the handlebars. They have a unique way of being adjusted that you don’t see on other bikes. You simply loosen off the adjusting screw on the side of the handlebars and they can be rotated back and up providing a more upright position.

This bike is a fairly bare-bones bike that doesn’t come with many extras like a cargo rack, rear tail light, or fenders but when you consider how competitively priced it is, and the fact that it comes with a rock solid 2-year warranty and great customer service, then it’s not too hard to see why you really are getting a lot of bike for the money.
